Blue Ridge Cup

Labor Day Weekend === September 5 - 6, 2020

The Blue Ridge Cup is the Labor Day destination for Elite, Premier, and Classic travel level competition in the state of Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic Region.  The event is hosted by SOCA (Soccer Organization of the Charlottesville Area)  and offers top-level facilities, organization, and officials, all within the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Please come and join us for what promises to be a great event to start the fall season!

  • Eligible Teams

    The tournament committee reserves the right to accept or reject any team application.

    Accepting U11 through U19 teams.

    Both travel and recreation teams registered with US Youth Soccer are eligible to apply for this tournament.

    Teams that are members of organizations of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) but not members of US Youth Soccer (such as AYSO, SAY, US Club Soccer or Super Y Leagues) are also eligible and DO NOT have to have a US Youth Soccer Application to Travel form (although that team’s organization may require that the team have permission).

    An approved sanctioned team roster does need to be provided to tournament officials, along with current player passes from its organization.

    U11 – U14  $600

    U15 – U16  $650

    U17 – U19   $700

    • All Girls Divisions to be played in Charlottesville/Albemarle.
    • All Predator Divisions (top flights) to be played in Charlottesville/Albemarle.
    • U11, U12, U14, U16, U17 Boys Copa Divisions (2nd flights) to be played at Culpeper Sports Complex.

    All specific division location information is proposed and may be changed due to final team registration numbers.  Tournament Staff reserves the right to change field locations as needed for the event.  Division placements to be posted on August 17th

  • Hotels and Accomodations

    “We have partnered with TRAVELING TEAMS® to secure discounted room blocks at a variety of tournament approved hotels close to our venues. This is a Stay to Play event. All teams traveling to this event beyond 75 miles must reserve their hotel accommodations through TRAVELING TEAMS®. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!”

  • Team Check-In

    Deadline to check-in online is August 28, 2020.

    This will be done through your Got Soccer account. The following documents are required:
    (1) Copy of State Approved Roster with guest players written on the bottom.
    (2) A copy of each player card.
    (3) Team information sheet with signature stating a medical release form from each player will be present at the fields during the event.  Team Infomation Sheet.
    (4) permission to travel if required.

    There will be no check in at the fields during the tournament, but documents must be available if requested by the tournament staff or tournament referee. Any team missing the online application
    deadline must notify the tournament and make alternate arrangements.
